June 14, 2013

In June, Olga and I drove from Manistique, MI to Layton, Utah.  We took our GPS and headed out. We took the I-80 route and left on a Friday which was a mistake as it was a holiday weekend, and traffic was heavy. Our excitement didn't let the heavy traffic dampen our mood though. Olga had made sandwiches and had other things to snack on. We decided to take our time and enjoy the new sites and people we encountered. Our first night we spent in Wisconsin. I had downloaded an app on my iphone for keeping a diary of our trip. But I forgot to use the darn thing. LOL
So forgive me if the blog gets confusing. I'm going by my memory.

On the road, Olga drives first stretch.
